This week has flown by. I really feel like December does this to me every year. If we could only slow down time, just a little. Have you been keeping up with the Dressember challegne? In other news I have an interview today, so I am hoping it’s a great fit. Polka dots are so classic and feminine. This sweater dress has a beautiful fit and flare shape that is truly flattering. Pair it with a boucle jacket for a feminine but grown-up twist. What’s your go to jewlery item?

I have so many errands to run today, and welp, I can, so that’s nice. A little life update: I was laid off from my job two days before Thanksgiving (yes, I have a full time job). It was obviously a huge bummer. I’ve never been laid-off, fired, or “let go” from any job before. Searching for a job during Christmas time is exciting but also limiting. Not as many jobs posted and not as much activity. I pray that this isn’t a drawn out search and I find the right fit not just for me but for my family too. I am so glad I already have this outfit on hand because it has the potential to be a great interview / office outfit. Red is a power color, and one of my favorite colors to wear. I just feel better in red. When I saw this jacket, even though it wasn’t at a place I normally shop at, I fell in love. The dress with stripes is another LuLaRoe gem. Tell me below what your favorite holiday de-stressor is.

Yesterday, I learned about a movement called Dressember. It’s mission is raising funds and awareness to oppose the worldwide trafficking and exploitation of women. The challenge is to wear a dress every day in December! Get creative and revive those dresses. I personally LOVE anything girly and dressy, and unfortunately am running low on items that fit properly. That won’t stop me though! Better late than never, I’m joining the movement.
Will join me in the challenge this month?
